Invite your team
Once your workshop exists, add the people who run it. Each person gets their own account and signs in individually, so the dashboard shows who did what.
You add staff from Settings. You do not have to do this during first-run setup, and you can keep adding people as you hire.
- Open Settings and go to Team & Access.
- Add a member with their name, email, and role.
- Save. The member is added to your organisation and can sign in with their own account.
- For technicians and detailers, hand off mobile access at the counter so they can start their jobs.
Pick the right role
A person's role decides what they see and what they can do. Assign the role that matches the job they do on the floor.
- Owner runs the business: billing, full team administration, and reporting.
- Admin manages the workshop and the team without owner-level billing authority.
- Workshop lead runs the floor and reviews job cards.
- Service advisor fields calls, books work in, and owns customer communication.
- Technician works job cards and runs inspections.
- Detailer handles wash and detailing work.
Owners and admins can opt in to bay work
If you run a smaller, hands-on shop, an owner or admin can turn on Is Technician to pick up job cards, and Can Lead to run the floor as today's lead. These are toggles in Team & Access, not separate accounts.
Get technicians onto their jobs
Technicians and detailers sign in to their work on a phone or tablet. From Team & Access you can issue a one-time access pass so they can sign in at the counter. Service advisors and leads can do this handoff too, without being able to change roles or staff details.
Role changes are governed access
Creating staff, changing roles, editing emails, and removing members stay with owners and admins. Front-counter handoff lets advisors and leads help a technician sign in, but it does not grant staff administration.
What the team sees
Once people are in, the dashboard shows live work moving through the shop, and each repair order carries a status everyone can read at a glance.
