Getting more help
When an article does not cover your situation, there are two quick paths: search the help center, then talk to support.
Search the help center
Press Cmd/Ctrl + K anywhere in the help center to open search. Type a task or a word from what you see on screen, such as a status name or a button label, and jump straight to the matching article.
Search by what you see
Every walkthrough uses the real Openhood interface, so the words in an article match the words on your screen. Searching the label you are looking at is usually the fastest way in.
Browse by task
The help center home groups guides by task: repair orders, inspections, quotes, job execution, invoicing and payments, customers and SMS, and bay view. If you are not sure of the exact term, browsing the category closest to what you are doing often gets you there.
Contact support
When you need a person, open support from inside Openhood.
- Use the support launcher in the app to start a conversation with the support team.
- Or open the support page to raise and follow up on a request.
Have the details ready
Tell support what you were doing, what you expected, and what happened instead. If it relates to a specific repair order, quote, or invoice, mentioning it helps support find the record quickly.
